Terms and Conditions

Terms and conditions are provided so you know what we expect for your caravan stay. You will receive a full refund of your $500 bond within 14 days after your stay providing you follow these rules.

Check in Time: Check in time is 2 pm and we realize barge times can make for a long wait. If arriving early, let us know and we can advise if an earlier arrival is possible that day. You will be met by Don on arrival, to give you a rundown on how everything works.

Check Out Time: 11 am is check out time. Let us know if you need a later check out and we will see what we can do. Before you leave, we will arrange to pick up the keys off you.

Before Departure: Ensure that all cookware, crockery and cutlery are washed, cleaned and put away where they were found. Fold and return all blankets and doonas . Tidy up, clean the fridge, stove and bbq. Sweep the floor and return everything to where it belongs. Please take all rubbish to the rubbish bins, located near Comboyuro Point toilets and showers.

Use Of Bbq:   Please avoid spilling oil, clean the spill tray and or oil catcher and remove any marinade after cooking. The use of a bbq is no different to a frypan and must be cleaned thoroughly before you vacate the van. There are cloths, scourers and a scraper provided.

Breakages: If anything is broken or not working, please let us know before you depart.

Power Supply: As the caravan is powered by solar panels with battery backup, we ask you to turn off any appliances when not in use. Absolutely no hair driers, extra car fridges, electric toasters or high voltage items are to be plugged in during your stay. Unnecessary call outs for power failure due to the above will incur a call out fee of $50 each time, which will be deducted off your bond.

Payment: Payment must be made in full at time of booking to hold dates required. For cancellation policy read below.

Cancellation Fees: Due to the fact the barge can be fully booked months ahead. We reserve the right to charge the following cancellation fees.

Low Season: We require 1 months notice for a full refund to you.

High Season: We require 2 month notice for a full refund to you.

If you have to cancel in the no refund time, we do give you the option to find someone to take your booking, we will require all their details prior to arrival. You are responsible to get payment off them and arrange transfer of bond to us.

Covid lockdown policy: If the island or where you live is in lockdown due to covid at the time of your stay, we will issue a full refund. Or if agreeable, we can transfer your booking to another date available that suits.

Weather Policy: Unless camping areas are closed by National Parks due to bad weather of bush fires, we accept no responsibility. If the National Park is closed to all camping, you will get a full refund of days not used.

Important Information: By making a booking with us, you agree to all Moreton Island Caravan Accommodation terms and conditions.
